Callaway launches Paradym AI Smoke Triple Diamond MAX driver

When it comes to drivers, Callaway has something for everyone. From the mega-forgiving AI Smoke MAX Fast to the lower spin and better-player-focused Triple Diamond, it has never been easier to find the right option to dial in the correct launch and spin windows off the tee.

Now after seeing success on the PGA Tour, Callaway is bringing a fifth option to market for those golfers looking to maintain a lower spin profile but want extra forgiveness — the Paradym AI Smoke Triple Diamond MAX.

What is Triple Diamond MAX?

What sets the AI Smoke Triple Diamond MAX apart from the already available Triple Diamond is the physical size and forgiveness that comes with it. While the standard Triple Diamond is 450cc, the MAX adds an extra 10cc to bring the total to the maximum 460cc while still maintaining a more compact look from address.

This extra size and slight shift in the center of gravity also adds more spin for golfers who need extra lift based on their impact dynamics or might be searching for a driver that offers extra workability. To further add adjustability to allow for fine-tuning, the stock sole weight (10 grams in the back, 4 grams in the front) can be swapped to help lower launch and spin.

As for the technology, the Triple Diamond Max is packed with all of the same features as the rest of the AI Smoke driver line. That includes AI Smart Face with micro-deflections and a 360 carbon chassis to save mass and boost MOI to allow engineers to position mass where it can be most effective.

For players looking to increase ball speed and lower spin, the 10g rear weight can be swapped with the 4g front weight. World’s First Ai Smart FaceTM Designed Using Real Player Data The all-new Ai Smart Face optimizes driver performance using swing dynamics from thousands of real golfers. These swing dynamics, or Swing Code, consist of swing speed, club delivery, and face orientation just prior to impact. This promotes optimal launch conditions and tight downrange dispersion. Price and availability

The Paradym AI Smoke Triple Diamond MAX is priced in line with the rest of the AI Smoke driver series at $599 and will be available for preorder starting May 28. The driver is right-hand only and comes in 9 and 10.5 degrees of loft. The stock configuration includes a Project X Denali Blue 60X shaft and Golf Pride tour velvet 360 grip.
